At RGL Security we offer a full range of Burglar Alarm Systems ranging from basic “Bells Only” systems with or without wires, to multi zone commercial systems connected to our Alarm Receiving Centre and operating with a Police Response.

The one thing that all our systems have in common is that they are individually designed around the customers or insurers requirements taking into account the perceived risk.

Installations are carried out in accordance with the latest European Standards and the upmost care is taken throughout the installation procedure. An SSAIB certificate of compliance is issued on completion.

Various system types with differing levels of protection are available these include:

Bells Only Systems – These are systems that will sound an external siren when activated. These types of system can usually be upgraded to ring up to 3 designated telephone numbers following an alarm by using a device called a Speech Dialler” This type of system is usually restricted to private dwellings of low risk

Systems Connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (Monitored Systems) – This type of system transmits alarm messages to an Alarm Receiving Centre who in turn can pass any confirmed alarm signals to the Police, Keyholders or a Keyholding Company

There are various methods of transmitting alarm signals to an Alarm Receiving Centre the following are examples of the types available.

Digital Communicator. A standard telephone line is used, preferably a dedicated one. This can result in additional telephone rental and call costs. As this uses a standard telephone line it can be cut or get damaged and it may not be immediately detected. DigiPlus Brochure

DualCom G2R: DualCom G2R is a single path GPRS radio based transmission system for low risk properties. It is ideal for use where a secondary telephone line or IP wired infrastructure is not available.  DualCom G2R Brochure

Dual Com GPRS:  (Available in Grade 2, 3, & 4 Options) Dual com GPRS uses a cellular GPRS path as its preferred primary transmission route and the standard telephone path as the second path. A line cut or fault would be reported to the ARC via the cellular path with any further activation also transmitted via that route. The chosen grade determines the frequency of signal integrity checks and the timescale of path fault reporting. DualCom GPRS Brochure

BT Redcare Classic:  Redcare is a method of ensuring the integrity of the communications path (phone line), failure or compromise of single secure monitored line (Redcare) would result in notification to you of the line loss by the Alarm Receiving Centre. BT Classic Brochure

BT Redcare GSM: Redcare GSM has all the advantages of Redcare Classic with the addition of a secondary path (GSM) to transmit any activation following a line fail resulting in a greater degree of secure transmission path. Both transmission paths are regularly polled to ensure integrity of the path. Redcare GSM Brochure
